In Excel there some add ins that you may install in order to have more funcionalities. 

The data analysis toolpak has mostly statistical functionalities that help on data treatment.

1. Go to Options
2. Choose add-ins in Tab, 
3. Press the go button in manage Add-ins,
4. Pick this pack 
5. Run it from the data menu. 
6. Choose the analysis you want to do
