One division from SIEMENS has an Excel system to forecast the sales at 3 years. 

As the system got more lines and more lines it started to work slowly with update of 1 line taking more than 30 seconds to finish.

The solution was to migrate the information to Access and most of the previous actions started to be more immediate.
